Meet Elmo

This handsome little boy is Elmo. He came into our care from a perrera where he was dumped with another 8 very scared little dogs. We took Elmo and another dog who very sadly was quite poorly and soon passed away.

Elmo was very scared and shut down when he arrived with us he didn't want to be touched. He wouldn't eat in front of us and he was constantly trembling…..such a sad little man.

Fast forward to now and given time and space to decompress, shown love and kindness every day he is a completely different dog!

He is still a little nervous of men but he's found his little voice, loves to crawl onto your lap for cuddles and loves his food. He is happy mixing with his kennel mates of all different ages and sizes, he is literally like a different dog.

Elmo is an 8/9 year old, little and possibly dachshund mix. We don't know anything about his past, but we hope to make his future a bright one.

He's got his own passport and had his vaccines and has been neutered. He will need someone who is prepared to give him some time and patience to adjust to a new home.
